Nash Weedle is wildly misrepresenting a Nintendo patent again. This “Switch 2” AR “GameChat” patent is in reality for Pikmin Bloom. There are reasons that he never gives you a link to read the patent yourself.
The patent isn’t new even. It was already published in the US on 2023-04-27 and Japan on 2023-05-12. Also, any Nintendo fan sees “Shigeru Miyamoto” and “character object high in zest” in the patent text can tell you it’s Pikmin.
NWeedle is just constantly throwing spaghetti at the wall until something occasionally sticks—sometimes years later, but that doesn’t stop him from taking credit.
