According to Vietnamese customs data, Switch 2 adopted the Asahi Kasei (旭化成) AK09919C magnetometer, a 3-axis compass. Coupled with gyroscope and accelerometer, Switch 2 controllers are capable of 9-axis motion sensing. Although Nintendo doesn’t mention it in PR or Welcome Tour, GVG’s video demonstrates its accuracy.
