Outlaws Speed Bump

The audio architect of Snowdrop, Rob Bantin, confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws cannot be on the Game Card 2 due to the latter’s performance limit. From Nintendo’s patent filing, we know that the card’s max data rate is 400MB/s.

Bantin further stated that if the game had been designed for Switch 2 from the start, the Game Card might’ve worked.

As it was, we'd build a game around the SSDs of the initial target platforms, and then the Switch 2 came along a while later. I have no reason to doubt that. As mentioned in my original post, since Cyberpunk 2077 can be played from the card, most games should have no problem.
