Nintendo Museum’s AR Hanafuda game requires projection calibration to align virtual imagery with the cards. However, the busy graphics and background make calibration difficult. Two solutions:

- Comparing the game board image taken by an overhead camera to the reference game board image

- Projecting procedurally generated polygons to the game board, and comparing their coordinates to the camera-captured polygons’ coordinates
