How the rewind feature of Mario Kart World works:
1. The game records the player’s position, orientation, velocity, and item status (image below).
2. When rewinding, the history is replayed backward, unless a collision occurs (C, D, and E in image below)
3. As soon as the rewind stops, new data is logged over the old (F, G, H in image above)
