Nintendo just filed a trademark application for “My Nintendo” in Norway on 2026-04-02. It’s possible that the filing is simply to prevent trademark squatting, or they are finally preparing to open a My Nintendo online store in Norway.
[Update on 2026-09-07] The “Nintendo eShop” and “My Nintendo” trademarks have been granted in Norway earlier today (2026-09-07; imgs below). Is this an indicator that localized services are being planned?
