I won’t comment on the lawsuit against Nintendo re: tariff refunds, but would like to point out that NOA is still paying extra for the trade war.
- Imports from Japan, Vietnam, and Cambodia: +10% Section 122 Global Surcharge
- Electronics from China: +25% Section 301 Tariffs
And as I mentioned when NOA retroactively reduced the prices of all NS2 digital games in LATAM but not in NA (where the digital price drop only applies to new releases), the reasoning is likely to avoid consumer lawsuits just like this.
