The Polygon team think very little of their readers’ intelligence:

I’m gonna save you another click too. Not only did Polygon never imply or categorize Board’s original $700 price tag as “greedy”, but they even slyly went back to edit their 5-month old report (image 1 below, via Internet Archive) to show the new lowered price (img 2; URL in alt text). Did Polygon think no one would notice that they carried water for the PR agency representing Board?


Polygon should just shed all pretense of “journalism”.
