Capcom’s Annual Securities Report disclosed their IP protection results in last fiscal year:
• Took down 7,708 pirated or infringing contents
• Added 239 patents
• Added 666 trademarks
These activities are meat-and-potatoes for any IP business, and yet Nintendo is regularly vilified for doing the same.
