Nikkie Asia quoted a consultant regarding Vietnam trade: “Nintendo, which produces its Switch 2 in China but has also diversified production to Cambodia and Vietnam, frontloaded shipments in 1H1 2025 to benefit from lower tariffs. It is now likely to further increase production in Vietnam”

This isn’t necessarily a win for US consumers. There was no tariff for Vietnam before April; it’s been 10% since, and will soon increase to 20%. Least we forget that Game Cards are made in Japan, and Pro Controllers in China and Cambodia only.
