Knowledge-based discourse

Foxconn Technology Co. (鴻準, Switch assembler) presented its R&D for Nintendo in the latest investor conference. The slide (image below) is virtually unchanged from last time. The first three technologies listed are already used in Switch 2 console and controller, but the “force sensing technology” remains unused. R&D for a new Ring Con perhaps?

FTC generated record revenue on the strength of its NS2 assembly business (images 1-2 below). What’s intriguing is the report that the production is running “at full capacity” in Q4, not only for the holiday season but also for expected demands driven by “new games launching in Q1” (image 3).

It’s unclear if Nintendo voiced their confidence in the Q1 lineup to FTC, or the latter is simply guessing from the order volume.
