The English transcript of Nintendo Shareholders Q&A is out. Compared with the attendee reports, Miyamoto’s statement that 1 in 10 people in Taiwan downloaded Pikmin Bloom is omitted from the official record—probably because that figure was a rough estimation, and thus cannot be included.
ICYMI, Pikmin Bloom’s popularity skyrocketed in Taiwan this year. In May, 56% of spending came from Taiwan alone, and the app’s H1 revenue almost equaled the whole of 2025 (img below).

When I visited Taipei last year, it was almost impossible to find open mushroom battles around tourist spots. It must be even worse now after the player base exploded. The recently announced mushroom battle expansion (img below) is probably to address that.
