FCC Filing Points to My Mario Melody Car in North America

A new Nintendo product with the model number OGO-011 appears in the FCC and ISED certification databases. Although the product photos are being held for “short-term confidentiality”, I believe that it is the My Mario Melody Car recently announced in Japan (video below).

Based on Nintendo’s EU Declaration of Conformity, the model number of the My Mario character blocks is OGO-001 (imgs 1-2 below). In the FCC and ISED certifications, OGO-011 is described as an “NFC reader/writer” (imgs 3-4), which matches the Melody Car (it reads the RFID in each character block to play corresponding audio clips).

If OGO-011 is indeed the My Mario Melody Car, it suggests that the product will be release in the US and Canada soon, probably in time for holiday shopping.
