IDG Intelligence forecasts that the cumulative sales of Switch 2 will be above Switch 1 in years 1-3, but fall behind from year 4. Similarly they think Nintendo’s console revenue will start to decline after 2028. IDG Intelligence’s CEO also said that there will be two big first party games in H2 that will help sell more Switch 2 consoles. It is unclear whether that’s a prediction or proprietary information.
