The day after the Star Fox Direct, Nintendo filed two trademark applications for it in Japan. They already own the word mark (img 1) since 1992 but I believe the design mark (img 2) is new. Two new classes (goods and services) are added to the existing classes 9 and 28:
18: Leather goods/travel gear
25: Clothing/footwear
So … Star Fox boots are coming?
