FCC certifications for the revised pair of Joy-Con 2 have been published (imgs 1-2 below). Does Nintendo of America plan to replace the original version with these in the future? Will they be bundled with the regular Switch 2 (not the EU version) in North America?
The peak antenna gain of the left Joy-Con 2 revision increased from +0.69 to +1.41 dBi (img 1 below), a 18% increase in linear terms. The revised right Joy-Con 2, on the other hand, decreased 16% in linear terms from +1.93 to +1.15 dBi (img 2). These changes are rather modest to have much real-world impacts.
